This week, County Executive Angela Alsobrooks announced Jessica Anderson-Preston as the new Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Prince George’s County (HAPGC).
Jessica has over 25 years of experience in affordable housing and organizational management. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director at Rockville Housing Enterprises where she oversaw a multi-million real estate development and property management agency with approximately 600 units across five developments.
As the new Executive Director of HAPGC, she will oversee an annual budget of approximately $95M.
“We’re committed to preserving Prince Georgians ability to afford quality housing,” said County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. “We will continue to develop our county in a way that ensures that those who call Prince George’s County home can continue to do so. I am confident that Jessica Anderson-Preston is the right person to lead HAPGC in accordance with that mission.”
“Jessica Anderson-Preston’s record demonstrates that she shares our vision for ensuring that Prince George’s County realizes its potential to be a leader in the solution for inclusive housing and economic growth,” said Angie Rodgers, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Economic Development. “We are confident that Ms. Anderson-Preston’s expertise and leadership will further elevate HAPGC’s ability to develop affordable, amenity-rich neighborhoods and a variety of housing types for people across the income spectrum in Prince George’s County.”

Jessica will begin her role with HAPGC in February.
