Prince George’s County is set to host a premier celebration of leadership, advocacy, and inclusion within the equestrian world. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Ethos Award Equestrian, Inc. will host its third biennial Ethos Award Champagne Brunch during the renowned Washington International Horse Show at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro.

Held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, this elegant brunch brings together local equestrians, community leaders, industry supporters, and enthusiasts for a morning dedicated to connection and inspiration. The signature event celebrates individuals who have profoundly expanded opportunities for—and inspired the engagement of—Black and Brown people within equestrian sports, helping to shape a more welcoming and diverse community.

Honoring 2026’s Exceptional Leaders

The highlight of the morning will be the presentation of the 2026 Ethos Awards to six outstanding recipients whose contributions continue to break barriers and drive the sport forward:

  • Zoie Brogdon
  • Sophie Gochman
  • Rob Van Jacobs
  • Berry Porter
  • Geñay Vaughn
  • Dr. Miguel Wilson
