For years now, June has marked the celebration of Caribbean Heritage Month and the achievements and contributions of Caribbean immigrants and their descendants living in the United States.

The Prince George’s County Caribbean Council held its annual Caribbean American Heritage Month Festival at Bladensburg Waterfront Park with tons of local residents, family and friends in attendance.

The event featured several Caribbean food trucks and food vendors along with live dance and music performances on the main stage. Families and children also enjoyed lawn games and soccer near the waterfront.
